I asked Customer Service about a 10th Anniversary Plat Set yesterday....

I called the Mint to request postage & insurance reimbursement for the (2) consecutive returns on my 4-coin Plat Unc Set, and while I was talking to the rep, she assured me that:

1) They haven't been advised that a Plat Anniversary Set will be offered this year.

2) If such a set was going to be offered, they would have been told about it by now.

When I talked to her supervisor, the supervisor told me essentially the same story.

Wasn't there a Coin World article which suggested that there would be such a set? Does anyone have any new information about a Plat Anniversary Set?

Nobody you will talk to by calling the 1-800 number can give you any reliable information, ever. If you would have asked them about the Dolly Madison first spouse coin three weeks ago, they would have told you the exact same thing...

From what you have said, the Mint will probably come out with the set now.
