    Very nice 2K!image

I thought the realization that most collectors go online for education, buying and selling,
as well as for forum companionship, instruction and teaching was an important one.

Any hobby can take advantage of the internet in precisely the same way that the PCGS World & Ancient Coin Forum members
do and derive many of the same benefits. It only requires that a specialized forum like this one has as many consistently engaged members as we do.

Long live the Internet, Interweb, whatever the "nom du jour" is...

With profound gratification I acknowledge the companionship of PCGS forum members, way too numerous to mention, all valuable.image

2K, I can remember a time when you didn't exist in our lexicon- we are richer for your presence.image

Hmm ... Let me see what I can find that's recent. Since I'm the one normally carrying the camera around, there aren't too many pics of me. Ever since I got the photo bug, most pictures of me look like this:

The CW article mentions a coin in Iraq.

What was the coin, if I may ask?

It turned-out to be a gold medal (which is why I was having such a hard time attributing it), issued to celebrate the "Golden Jubilee of Iraqi Air Force".

Damn, Roman, you look Russian! image And I did not know that you served in Iraq either.image I hope to meet you in person one day. I'm buying drinks at Gibson's after early badge day at CICF.

PS: On second thought you might want to skip early badge day, not worth the money, and stay away from Karl Stephens. image

  • Alright Roman!!!
You do look very Russian image and young.
Isn't it funny how we try to put an image of what we think people look like only to find out they look totally different? ... lol but for some reason I did think of you as a young fellow.

I'm new at coin collecting and I'm also interested in pieces of eight and older mexican coins in general but still have a lot to learn, I keep on looking up your posts every chance I get because you seem to have pretty good knowledge and taste. Keep up the good work.

    Thank you Romanimage
