Price guide

There was much talk on the US Coin forum about the Mexican 8 real pieces that were the coin of choice in the US until the mid 1850s. I have three of them, but don't have any idea of their value. Can someone here direct me to a price guide for these beauties?

There are some rarities within this long series. These are tough in high MS grades. You can always check Krause but for rare dates and high quality, it may not be completely accurate. Consider checking the Heritage Auction records online... they have auctioned some decent ones over the years

Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.

  • There are no accurate price guides for these coins. Your best bet is auction archives, and I don't mean the ones on ebay. Heritage is good, so is Coin Archives.com. And I would also check the archives of the major auction houses.

Like GDJMSP said, there aren't any up-to-date price guides. If you post what you have, we can at least narrow it down to some recent sales of the same/similar year/mint-mark/condition.
