I say cleaned. I like these old chunky halves. I want this one to add to type set but I as I look closer it sure looks cleaned. I think I can get a VG to F for fair money without a good scrubbing. Let me know.

You can find a nicer example with no problems, and even if you pay more, you will be happier in the end.
