Strange looking seated dollar

Not sure what to make of this 1842 seated dollar. I can't decide if it's a dug coin that someone tried to clean-up, or maybe it just got left the jewel luster over night. Then wrapped in a taco bell napkin for several months.
Who is General Failure, and why is he reading my hard drive?

If that coin could talk it would say "Turn away Jerry, I'm hideous".

Also looks like a photo that's misleading.
The coin was probably harshly cleaned then AT.

Unfortunately it looks somewhat typical of the coins offered by this eBay seller. Do a search of 'TopLine Coins' and see what comes up. Too bad to ruin a nice Seated dollar like that.

Beware of Toplinecoins, he's been the discussion on this forum many times.

His coins can be very intoxicating.

He does have a decent return policy.

Use the search function on these boards for the seller's name, it may tell you quite a bit.
