Great eBay insurance policy

Love the way this guy pretty much tells you that if you dont buy his $6.50 insurance on a $4.00 coin that it will (read between the lines "almost probably get lost").

His insurance for any coin is $6.50 no matter the price.

Sent complaint to eBay but not sure anything will get done about it.

yup, if you buy from that seller, it's a personal problem.

Yeah, but if you read the seller's description, he states that he only ships insured one way, and that is via priority mail. So, $4.65 for mailing, plus $1.65 for insurance totals $6.30. He also states if you want insurance, the total shipping charge is $6.50, so he makes a whopping $0.20. It sounds okay to me.

IF YOU WANT THIS ITEM SHIPPED INSURED THE TOTAL SHIPPING FEE WOULD BE $6.50 - I ONLY SHIP INSURED ONE WAY, U.S.P.S. PRIORITY MAIL.

I was just referring to the part about insurance being *optional*.

And his reference to the number of coins lost that were not insured.

If your going to charge for priority mail you should make it in the shipping price not the optional insurance.
