Need Help - Hassan Triple-folders

Even though I live in an area of about 500,000 people, we have one card dealer that buys/sells vintage. Yesterday, he bought 68 Hassan Triple-folders from a lady whose grandmother had passed away. I looked at the cards today and they look real. I told the dealer, who is not much into graded, that he should get these graded and sell on eBay. He wants to get a couple thousand from these but I told him he should do better but I don't know what I am talking about. Among the 68 cards, there are a few Cobbs (including the famous one), a Speaker and at least one Mathewson. The grades range from P/F (cards that were folded in half) to about VG-EX. I told him I would do some research for him so...

1. How much would it cose to get these graded?

2. What have these been going for (commons, stars) in the various conditions?

Thanks.

He wants a couple thousand for them = $30 ea. roughly

Personally I would only grade the better cards .....VG/EX or better, and the star cards (2 HOFers showing, any Cobb, Mathewson, etc.)

I wouldnt grade T202 cards that have values under $75. Many T202 set collectors collect raw, especially VG or less cards.

I agree 100% especially if most are likely to grade PSA 1's and 2's...
