My Recent Set Completion Milestones

In the past 2 months I've reached the following milestones:
1. 1939 World In Arms - 100% complete; Upgraded two PSA1's to PSA5's
2. 1939 True Spy Stories - 100% complete (87.5% Graded)
3. 1941 Uncle Sam's Home Defense - 75% complete
4. 1938 Horrors of War - 70% complete
5. 1939 - 40 War News Pictures - 50% complete
6. 1936 G-Men & Heroes of The Law - 25% complete
Plus I started 2 new sets: 1937 Ripley's Believe It or Not ( 2 of 48) & 1967 Leaf Star Trek ( 1 0f 72).
My goal is to finish at least 2 sets by the end of 2008.
In case anyone is interested I have scans of all my graded cards up, under the name WarHoundR69. Sorry but I don't know how to make a link
Feeling pretty good about this wonderfull hobby right now.

checked out that set and your others. Pretty Sweet!!!
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

Great job. You seem stuck in the 30's. image Are you going after the high numbers for the Ripley's set? They are tough. I have been working on a raw set for the past 8 years. You need to be patient because the high numbers do not come to auction that often. When they do, prepare to bid very agressive. It will be one of the most rewarding sets to complete due to the rarity of the high numbers. Heck, the low numbers are tough. Between this set and the high numbers for the G-Men, you will have your hands full. Please keep us informed on your progress.

Yes I am going after the high No. Ripley's. You can add the War News Pictures "DIRTY DOZEN" (Nos. 109 to 120) and the Home Defense High Nos. (121 to 144) to the very tough list. Fortunately I only need one tough HOW card (No. 283) - got all the rest.
When I finish all those sets I guess I'll go after 1936 Wolverine R144 Strange True Stories (That set will take a mortage on my house to pay for).
