If you read their description of this card, it would lead one to believe it would grade as a PSA-7. They actually say "Near-Mint" and "PSA-ready". However, if you read to the end, the also mention that the card has been trimmed! Of course, we all know that this mean that PSA wouldn't even grade the thing, so in my mind, this is blatant false advertising. Sure, you'd be an idiot to expect that a card actually grade what most sellers say it is, but would maybe assume 1-2 grades lower. In this case though, the bidders either must have missed that part about trimming or don't realize that PSA won't grade it because of it. Either way, this one really stinks!

A red flag goes up went I see a card from this seller as it been my experience that he grades his cards too high. I will give him credit though that at least he mentioned that the card was trimmed.

I don't understand how anyone can buy ungraded vintage of that value?...Too much of a gamble for me...

the buyer has a low feedback score. hopefully he won't make too many more mistakes like this although he bought a raw 69 Topps Mantle (white letters) purported to be a PSA 4 or 5 that is trimmed as well, although not stated as such in the auction. maybe the thinking is to buy up all the trimmed Mantles and cause a spike in the price due to scarcity.
