    Are you sure that is a staple? Looks too small. Could it be struck through thread?

    That's what it looks like to me also. Is it raised, or indented?

    I wasn't sure. I've never seen that type of strike before. I thought it looked like a staple under the lens....must have been a thread as you note. Thanks!!
