Interesting. So if it turns out to be true, how many draft picks to the Colts lose? Is Tony Dungy a cheating A-Hole? Will Peyton become an irresponsible womanizer? Are the Colts going to become the new Pats?

The pats fans just can't handle someone else trying on their Darth Vader hats. Face it their evil and the whole league and all other fans hate them now. This is what sucess brings if you can't handle being called evil then start losing again.

Right but if the Pats were accused of this you would be calling for their heads on a platter!

Kevin in the real world it is a two way street my silly friend...
  • From profootballtalk.com. ESPN also reports the same.

"CBS TAKES BLAME FOR SOUND GLITCH

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that CBS has taken responsibility for the bizarre sound glitch that has prompted speculation that the Colts were caught red-handed in the act of piping phony crowd noise into the RCA Dome.

Per Schefter, the vibrating sound as the Pats were driving at the start of the fourth quarter was the result of tape feedback in the CBS production truck. Schefter says that the sound could not be heard in the stadium.

We've spoken to some radio folks who also believe that the phenomenon was not the result of a glitch during the use of artificial crowd noise.

Oh well. Controversy is a lot juicier. But even when the truth isn't sexy, we've still got to respect it."

They just replayed the live feeds of the "blip" and it isn't there. CBS admitted it was a glitch that only live tv heard. They played more than one audio recording of that play to show no blip in the sound was recorded. Just another fantasy thought up by the herd. Hey Pats, there all out to get you. I don't think Oliver Stone could ge this paranoid.

I dont think so, I think everyone is frustrated in their inability to beat us. Oh well everyone gets a break from us this week due to the bye but come week 10 we will continue our rampage.

Dont get me wrong, Bellichek could win the Super Bowl this year and he will still not be satisfied....

    I love him though! image
  • Morgoth, you keep on calling the pats "evil". Why such anger? Its a friggen football team for cripes sake.
I have met a few of the players, and they are not "evil", just all around good guys.
They are just playing on a level which has never been seen before, thats all.

People hate winners. Look at all the hate the Cowboys got in the 70's and 90's. They still get it today just not as bad being that they are not winning like they used too.

I am sure some storm troppers were nice guys too but Darth made them evil image Also it's in the lexicon of New England sports to call the Yankees the evil empire for being so good. Now that your at that level you get to wear the dark hats. Welcome to hell.

Looks like it is not true.

Actually, it would be kind of sad if the Colts needed to pipe in crowd noise -- you would think their own fans could genereate enough noise for a defending Super Bowl champion that is still winning almost every game.

It looks like they did considering the Patriots thought it was so loud that they must have cheated.
