I just got off the phone with Jay and apparently he is only interested in the Proofs in the mint sealed boxes. He says he has a "mountain" of the Uncirculated pieces already. That means that for those of use that have our mint sealed boxes with both in the same box, this is not a viable outlet for us.

However, the good news is judging by his buy prices for the 70s First Strikes it appears that for those of us holding First Strike eligible mint sealed boxes, that they may indeed be worth sending off for grading. This could be the first signs of a market forming for these.
