Who's a reputable dealer to buy a signed Mantle ball?

That's one item I want for my collection. Who has the best rep in the autograph business these days? I prefer one that's been PSA/DNA certified. Buying sigs is a risky deal regardless. I approach all deals with a bit of skepticism. I think that's a healthy attitude to take.

    1. You just answered your own question--you want a PSA/DNA certified. If that's the criteria, who cares who the dealer is?
    2. Remember PSA is a third-party authenticator. That's quite different from the question of who is a reputable seller of signed sports memorabilia.
  • Makes sense, I guess I'm worried about a bogus PSA/DNA sticker. Autographs buying has always been such a shady business that I guess I do care about finding a reputable dealer.

You can/should check the cert. number on PSA's website to make sure it matches up with the listing. As long as it does, just look for the obvious red flags like not charging $500 for shipping, tons of negative feedback or "0" feedback, etc. I'll also PM you a list of some reputable sports memorabilia companies should you decide to look into that option also image
