submission question

in PSA Set Registry Forum
If I indicate a min grade of 8NQ on my sub, will that eliminate the possibility of any higher numerical grades (9 or 10) with qualifiers, e.g. 9(OC)? I'm trying to avoid 9 or 10 (MC) or (OC). Thanks.

    To my understanding there used to be a min. grade, but as per the most current submission forms it clearly states in the minimum grade box - minimum grade (Cross-Overs only). If wrong I would like to hear as such.

    Mark - I am not sure on the minimum grade but it seems to me it was only for crossovers also. As far as 9 or 10 with a qualifier - I don't think there is such a thing as a PSA 10 with a qualifier. May be some in those "Gem Mint" holders or "FGA" or something - of course there is not much difference in a 5 or a 10 anyway in most of those.

    appreciate the responses. I thought the min grade was on crossovers also but I have seen many threads indicating that is not the case. You would think someone must have done it and could provide a definitive answer. Anyway, I submitted roughly 120 cards yesterday and I put a min grade on each line so I'll let you know what happens. I am assuming if there's a problem, someone from C/S will call me and let me know. I'll go with no min if I have to but for the cards I submitted (75T Mini), I would rather have a straight 8 than a 9(oc).

    Minimum grades are for crossovers only. This much I am sure of. Also, if a card was going to be graded a 9OC the highest grade it would get would be a straight 7 if you asked for no qualifiers. As for the MC qualifier even if you asked for no qualifiers in your order if the card is miscut it will still get the MC qualifier. Hope this helps.
