No...I see bids on coins that are much stronger than I have for the last 6 months. Could the move in metals and fear in the stock market be making tangible assets more appealing?

The dollar is so depressed that you have international bidders buying up US coins as an investment because in their currency they are getting double and now sometimes triple the buying power for the same amount. Then when the dollar turns back around they will sell and make 50-100% profit.
In the past year you have seen the euro jump almost 30% compared to the dollar. So basicly the coin that cost you 1000 euro then now only costs you 700 euro now, because of the exchange rates. I think you will see prices for good collector coins really jumping in the near future, unless our economy tanks worse. If I was an international player, this is a great way to play the currency markets.
