Here's an offbeat British Historical Medal that might be a bit tricky to identify even for
the Victorians among you!

Neat medal, does the other side has Queen Victoria Bust with "God Save the Queen Royal Assent 8th june 1847" ?

Geez, I guess that was too easy! BHM 2306 - "The Ten Hours Bill" of 1848 limited daily factory hours for women
and youths to 10 hours!

Some dang fool felt it necessary to wipe the obverse of this cased medal but mercifully
left the reverse alone!
