1827 Bust Half......another Newp today
Picked this one up also at the B&M shop today.
It has a nice Olive green color on the Obv and nice green bluish color on the Rev. Very Satiny finish.
Overton # and grade opinion anybody? I don't see much rub at all.
These are QUICK pics at work. (but pics at home wouldn't be any better...sorry)

Thanks for looking. She's a looker in hand.

Thanks everybody for the comments!
You guys are starting to scare me about the wiping thing. I thought (one of my big problems) I looked this coin over and over in the store and determined it was a keeper with no problems. I will take it out of the 2X2 and see what's going on.
Paid AU $ for it.
O-109, R-4 is on the 2X2, but wanted to make sure (since I don't have a book)
There is a raised area coming down from the ear. Almost like a pitted die. Is that a marker for the O-109?

Yes!
After viewing the coin out of it's 2X2, I'm not convinced that there is hairlining on the REV.
What say the Wednesday morning crowd?

The obverse, you will note the raised areas under the ear,
this is known as "Liberty's Earring" these are just raised defects.
On the reverse the first three stripes of the shield are unfinished at the bottom.
Grade AU53, but it looks rather lackluster, or is it your picture?
Good pick up guitarwes
