72 Set Registry Email Addresses

Whether a lurker or someone who has uploaded their cards to the 72 Set Registry, perhaps we could help each other.

I'll start with my email address.

dwedge@clevelandnet.com

As the thread goes on, we could see each others email address and what people have to offer.

Again though, what happens if we get into a bidding war here?

    Dale,

You'll find that I've gotten VERY selective about what 72's I bid on eBay. Very rarely do I bid on 8's anymore. The 9's are where I put the bulk of my bidding because I'm relatively sure I can get 8's all day long sending them into PSA myself.

For the most part, we have the top 6 or 7 on the 72 Registry already speaking. We also trade and sell a bit along the way. But, there are definitly a few guys out there that are not part of the set registry that still want what they want. Thats the way it is. Best bet is to cultivate your 72 friends network and don't bid stupid. These cards are not RARE no matter what anyone says. I'm starting to see some specific 9's coming around a 2nd and a 3rd time. The 8's come up more frequently than that.

Dale> To go along with what Frank said, something else to consider is that you have five people who are at 50% completion or better. And three of those are over 60%. So the cards that these five people already have are bound to be cheaper because the demand is lower.

Also. . .I've generally been a non-factor on 72T on eBay. One reason is exactly what Frank said - when I can send cards to PSA and have 80% of them come back 8s or better, there's a lot less pressure to overpay for already-graded cards. The other reason is that for the last couple months, I've been working on my other sets. With the1975 set, I essentially went from zero to 22% in the space of about 2 to 2 1/2 months. I've also started an 82F PSA9 set which I'll likely be approaching 10% by the end of the month.

But fear not. . .in about 2 weeks, I'll have a large order of 72s and 75s going off to PSA image
