The long slow climb to finishing off a set.

When you get to about 90% on a set, it seems like things slow to a crawl. Getting those last few cards takes forever it seems.
I have been upgrading a '77 baseball set, for example, getting rid of all of the O/C cards to make it a true NM-MT+ set. On Jan. 22, I needed to upgrade 73 cards. I still need 14.
Also working on a '76 football set in about the same condition. On July 1, I needed 10 cards. I still need 2.

One person even said that they got all the HOFers first and got bored with the commons so they just stopped.
I wont stop, and I hope you dont stop!

You guy's in sports have it made, try some of my Non Sports sets. I've been working on several (Try about 10) for 5 years plus and in that time I've finished Two (2).
