We are like children who look at print and see a serpent in the last letter but one, and a sword in the last.

  • Is that + mark next to the left foot part of the design?

I have no idea. Maybe it was put there for a "sting" operation? Maybe someone simply wanted a subtle "fingerprint" for his coins? Clearly it was done with as tiny a counterpunch made! I had a very prominent pattern collector who wanted to buy this because he was fascinated by it, but I was not selling at the time...I had to wait until a great MS66 showed up. That took looking at half of them and a year.

The coin was quite nice...a very solid MS65.

It's the famous 'Chi' counterfeit...not to be confused with the 'Omega' counterfeit... image

I've seen this picture before on these boards and as is typical with coins, once you know what to look for, it stands out like a black eye!

For whatever reason everytime I look at a Saint anymore, my eyes immediately go to her feet! image

    I think I'm becoming a sicko..........................
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!
