    Nice coins.

    I have a question.
I understand the reasoning for reserves on Ebay; start at a lower price to save a bit of cash on listing fees, but protect one self from selling for less than you want (maybe a whole lot less).

But if your site ONLY charges for a percentage of the hammered price, and not a starting price, why have a reserve?
Let them be started at the least amount a seller is willing to sell the coin for.

True...I think it's more of a personal preference than anything else. We don't charge a fee for setting a reserve, so there's really no risk in doing so...I personally think there's a 'fun' factor to an auction with a hidden reserve, and that it creates competition between bidders.

I don't think there is any fun with a hidden reserve and there will be no competition from me to find it. If you can't tell me straight out how much you what for the coin, I don't want it. Sorry, that's just how I feel, maybe I'm the only one though.....

You're not the only one, although I might throw in a low-ball bid just so the seller doesn't feel unwanted. image

Sounds like some strong feelings out there!...it's not a difficult thing to change- I need to sell these coins, and if I'm losing business, that's not a good thing...I do think that option should be there if a seller wants to use it, though...
