Price of rolls of jefferson nickels?

Anyone have any idea as to the price of a roll of jefferson nickels. I have at least 3 rolls in my grandfathers collection from 1938-1964 from every mint. Any idea as to the prices of these?

Of course the war nickels, with the silver content, are well worth keeping. Some say the '38's and '39's are
also worth hoarding. However, there is little premium on the others unless they are uncirculated. The
50-d is somewhat scarce in all upper grades and pretty common in lower, but worth saving

    Good luck,

Do yourself a big favor and go to the Greysheet website and click the link at the top for Specials then order the $13.75 special that will give you information on virtually every US coin your grandfather was likely to have in his collection. By the way, you didn't state if the rolls were of mint state or circulated coins and this makes an enormous difference.

AUandAG, not to argumentative but i've found the opposite to be true......finding one well circulated has always been a chore, whereas many were hoarded upon release and remain BU today

Besides the war nickels, there are several dates that command significant premiums even when circulated.

    1938, 1938-D, 1938-S, 1939-D, 1939-S, 1950-P, and 1950-D all bring over $10 per roll in circulated condition.
