hypothetical situation

tahoe98tahoe98 Posts: 11,388 ✭✭✭

let's say i have 10 coins that were graded back in the late 70's early 80's by ANACS. in those years i got the coins back graded and authenticated with my nice photos along with the coins. today i decide to send the coins back to ANACS with the photos. will they slab them for me in their plastic based on the info on the photos? anyone ever been in this situation before? thanks for your opinions/thoughts in advance.

I'd think you would have to contact them and ask, and get it in writing. It's a new group, a few times over, I think, there.

I would think they would regrade the coins themselves since the coins could have changed over the years.

    NO

    They will not.
I sent in a 65 Walker in one of their old photo holders and it came back a 64.
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"

As far as I know, the only thing in common between ANACS of the late 70's that of today is the initials.
  • I don't know, but on a semi-tangential note, I saw this last night and was wondering if this is considered eBay legal under their new rules image
