Charlotte Gold?

I am putting together a $5.00 Half Eagle one from each mint set in fine to extra fine condition. In this condition what can a person expect to pay for a Charlotte half eagle? Just wanting to get some Idea as the C and D mints will be more of a challenge.

A nice XF-40 Charlotte half eagle can be obtained for around $2000-2400. I would recommend that you purchase a piece that has been certified by PCGS or NGC and try to buy one that has not been dipped or scrubbed. I would also recommend that you buy one as close to XF-40 (or better), as possible. When you dip into very fine (and especially fine) grades, there is price compression to the point that it does not take that much more money to get a nice XF coin as it does a low-end VF coin.
