What kind of cards do you grade?

Another words do you grade cards for the registry(LMM), a set your building or certain years. The reason I'm asking is alot, and I mean alot of people on the Beckett board insist on grade their 2006 or 2007 auto, patch or refractor cards. This doesn't really make sense to me because shouldn't most of the cards pulled these days get high grades. Are they petting theirselves because they've received a high grade on a card? Or are they such grading fiends that they just love getting high grades no matter if the cards they are grading are new pulls? I just don't see grading a card of some unproven rookie baseball or football player.

I don't grade squat... I would not submit enough to come out ahead for grades coming back lower than I expected. I let someone else roll the dice and buy them slabbed... to complete sets, at least the ones that I believe are most likely to have singled altered. I buy PSA cards just as much for the authentication as I do the grade almost.

For the most part I just send in cards for sets I'm building. If the set is already heavily graded I just wait and buy already graded cards.

I buy them already graded , I don't have the time nor the patience to deal with it all , especially after seeing what goes on here , If I see a card I need, I just buy it .

Seeing what some of you go through would absolutely drive me up a wall, waiting for this to pop and that to pop, hoping on a certain grade ?

That would spoil the hobby for me a bit .

That also leaves me with about 3 closets and the entire space under my bed jam packed with raw , the walls are filled , all the binders are filled , this is the real deal " House of cards " image
