I clubbed my woman on the head and drug her back to my cave many moons ago. My nights " on the town" are over so to speak.

I wouldnt have it any other way though. She's a keeper image

  • I spent the night watching Harry Potter with my twin daughters. Their mother my wife is a result of trolling the bars years ago. Like Lawnmowerman said "I wouldn't have it any other way"

Going out isn't that appealing anymore. My girlfriend is out with her girlfriends...and that's not the good kind of girlfriends, they're just her friends who are girls, each with boyfriends. I go to events, but I don't do the random bar hopping anymore. College was enough for me.

Hey, don't tease about a PSA 10 Arrington. I've been chasing him for years. Which I can't believe is so difficult because he's not even on an NFL roster.image

Im not really into that scene anymore either. If our daughter is with the sitter, I like going out to dinner with my wife or with our friends, but I have just as much fun having our friends over to play poker and drink some Octoberfest.
I'll take family time anyday though.

    I don't feel like going to jail tonight . . .

  • << <i>Why are you guys not out on the town tonight but instead, you're on the PSA message board. >>

This place has enough characters and debauchery to rival any place out on the town!

Besides, with a 2 year old and #2 due in March, I think I would rather spend my quiet time reading and resting (while I still have some).

Seems as legit a question on a Saturday night as a Friday, so back to the top. In no particular order:
    1. Because I was out far too late last night.
    2. I make my living selling on the Internet, which is nice but often means having to sacrifice good times for income. Had to cancel a date tonight because I'm working on a big (big for me anyway) sale. I learned the hard way that in the online world "I'll get back to them tomorrow" usually means you're one tomorrow too late. Which I guess is a long way of saying I'm getting old, lol!
    3. Because we all take turns keeping an eye on you, SoonerCowboy, and tonight is my turn.

  • My lovely wife and I celebrated our six-year anniversary tonight.

Were going to go into Georgetown (DC) - where we were married - or Old Town Alexandria (VA) for a nice dinner and a walk.

Got a late start (assembling bunk beds), so we had the in-laws over to watch the boys and enjoyed a Chipotle dinner. Then went to Starbucks with a giftcard some student's parents gave me. Then wandered aimlessly around Borders for an hour, or so.

    Good stuff.

Would love to venture out with a satchel of killer sticky bud and a twelve-pack of tasties, but I've come to accept the fact that those days are probably over.

    Not really a bad thing.

Yes, we can. And that is precisely why we are keeping watch. (BTW: Put that away! What's the matter with you? No, don't do that, do NOT do that! )

LOL! Hey, I found out that I needed bifocals, of all things, 2 weeks ago. So as I stand here before you today I will state that: "it most definitely can make you go blind."
  • I'm on a 24 hour shift. When I go out something's burning or some schmuck smacked up his car. Lickily we were able to watch most of the Sox/Rox game.
