Sportscollectors.net shows he has about a %24 return rate on his TTM's. I have seen worse especially for stars likr Mr. Aaron. If you are going to send somethng to him I wouldnt make it a very expensive item just in case.

I was successful..................when I wrote to him in 1984. He signed a couple of 3x5 index cards for me.

  • I got him through the mail a number of months back but being from Milwaukee might have helped my cause.

In the past, most Aaron signs TTM were/are secretarial.

I heard a rumor that if you buy a BMW from his dealership in Atlanta, you get a free signed baseball. So go ahead and buy a car, then ask him.

    << <i>What is a TTM? >>

TTM = through the mail: sending off items to a player's mailing address with a SASE ( self addressed stamped envelope) in the hopes the player will sign the item and return.

There are various websites and books that list addresses of both present and former players.

Off topic, but I got a bunch of stuff signed when he opened an Arby's in my hometown about 15 years ago. I think he still owns quite a few of them.
