Please Help-Jim Thorpe Autographs

I've been looking for a Jim Thorpe autograph for some time now. I've seen some very different looking signatures. Could someone tell me if these are both legit. Any help would be appreciated.

Can anyone help me with this? I believe they are both legit, but the "Jim" is very different in both sigs. Does anyone know when his signature changed?

I coulndn't tell you, but this link might help. You'd have to sign up for access, but they do have a legit Thorpe auto you can compare those to.

Top looks legit, the bottom doesn't look like his autograph at all.

Heritage Auctions sold a couple of dozen Thorpe autographs from his personal collection within the past couple of months. Search their archives and you'll be able to see plenty of examples of legit autos of his.
