A neat item for the Lincoln collectors--campaign ferrotype

Very neat!..... These things are tough to find WITHOUT a BIG hole..... Notice the start of the hole at the top? A bigger hole is usually in this spot for putting a campaign ribbon thru. Even in this condition, these go for many 100s

I guess these are fairly rare and fragile as this one shows. there are many different types although I wasnt able to find this variety in the Heritage archives.

I am not sure what exactly a ferrotype is but I do believe it is a picture of Lincoln, sans beard, and his running mate Hannibal Hamlin.

Curly, I can bring it to the party next month.
