Mint set shipping question????

Is anyone else seeing this when running the tracking number provided? In the box at the bottom of the history page for this order . They tell me my subcription order shipped 10/17/07
But if I run the tracking # I get this.

The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on October 26, 2007 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

Shouldn't subcribers be the first to get them?

PS.
I did get an order confirmation email a while back, and thought they had been shipped.

(Old man) Look I had a lovely supper, and all I said to my wife was, “That piece of halibut was good enough for Jehovah”.

(Priest) BLASPHEMY he said it again, did you hear him?

I'm not sure this answers your question, but all shipments through the USPS I have received from the mint lately weren't able to be tracked by the link in the trace shippment page.

I'm not sure what the message was, but I was irritated with it.

Keep in mind that the US Mint uses DHL which then transfers them to the USPS. At least they do with my orders. US Mint may not know when they were transfered to the USPS.

ALso, FWIW, I have received my Mint sets, and I'm a subscriber.
  • The USPS tracking won't show anything until the mint product is received at your postal distribution center, then again when it arrives at your local PO.

I know a bunch have received sets. I've been reading that they are terrible. I don't know if they are all subcribers or not. Maybe we do get them first. And their just getting to my end of the list.

I always get that so its nothing unusual!

Funny thing though is that I usually get the package the day before I receive email notification!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

It is a delivery cinfirmation number and normally only shows up after the item is delivered.

The item is scanned when it goes into your mail box. And the scanner is downloaded into the system when the mailman gets back to the post office.
At least that is how mine where done because I happened to be at the mail box when the mailman was putting them in last Saturday.
  • I got the package today image I haven't looked at any yet. But now its time for sleep. image
