Where can I find a checklist of all Kentucky Wildcats basketball trading card sets?

Okay, as you guys are aware I'm starting to collect a run of Topps football sets to go with all my runs of baseball sets. Now, I would do Topps basketball as well, but the problem with that is from 1982-93 to 1991-92, there simply are no Topps basketball sets! image So I figure the next best thing would be to collect card sets from my favorite college basketball team, the Cats! image

So my question is what are all the Kentucky Wildcats trading card sets that have been released over the years? By far the most interesting ones I've seen on Ebay are the two series of "Kentucky's Finest" trading cards from around 1989 or 1990 or so. I've seen wax boxes of them but how many are in a whole set?

How extensive? I picked up a copy of the Annual Beckett Football and it says on the back cover that it lists every "important" football card set from 1894 to present. So what exactly do they define as "important"? image It used to be the idea of these annual Beckett guides is to list virtually every card of that sport known to exist (which I hope the Baseball Almanac still does). image

Like for example, I remember seeing a few small sets of UK cards sold at the UK bookstores when I went to school there (don't ask me why I didn't pick them up; must've figured I'd just wait for them to show up on Ebay or something); would sets like those be included?

I can't find it, and NO I'm not subscribing to their paysite. image In fact, doesn't it (at least it did at first) forbid so-called "free" email accounts from being used to sign up (Yahoo, Hotmail, MSN, AOL, etc)? image

I did notice in the annual Beckett Football guide they do a section for college football cards (including the 300 card Kentucky's Finest which apparently covered both b-ball and football); does the annual Basketball Beckett do a good comprehensive one also?

Geez, I could've sworn there were more trading card sets than that... In fact, I remember seeing some small UK trading card sets at their bookstore (don't ask me why I didn't get them at the time). But thanks for the tip noneoftheless. image

I have a small set that my dad got me in 1987. It is called the "Bluegrass State Games" set. It has a few basketball players and also features several famous people that are from the state of KY - like Pee Wee Reese, Doug Flynn, Governor Martha Lane Collins, etc. The set is listed in the SCD catalog. I was very surprised to see that the set booked at $50. I even have a few of them autgraphed - Kyle Macy, Winston Bennett, and Dan Issel. I would like to get these autographed, but they dont' sign TTM - Sam Bowie and Mel Turpin (on the same card), Kenny Walker, and Rex Chapman (he was awesome to watch). This set even has a couple of players from Louisville - Pervis Ellison and Darryl Griffith.
