anyone shed some light on this coin album?

i just picked this up on ebay with 10 mint sets in it.

inside the cover it says "copyright 1959, by the coin and currency institute, inc."

i grew up on whitmans and now use danscos, but i don`t recall seeing this brand before. was it common?

i googled it(for 2 minutes, i`ll get better knowledge here) but did not find a current website.

if your familiar with them are they known for album toning like certain other brands are?

any input appreciated.

Sounds like a Library of Coins album. They were produced from the late 1950's until the very early 1980's. Nice albums.

This is a Library of Coins album and, although they have not been produced in a number of years, they are still rather widely available.

They're sturdy, well-made albums, with plastic slides to protect the coins (or leave marks on MS or proof coins). I have several circulated sets in them. Purchased the albums used in the early '80s.

My Franklin set is in one. A decent holder. I happen to prefer older albums for my circs.
