Looks like he sold another one of these a week ago for over $300...

The seller never really says it is a reprint. He says that he is selling it as a reprint because he does not know if it is real or not. It kind of gives the buyer a sense of false hope even though he should know better. It's also the buyer's own greed, thinking that he can get a "steal" on a Mantle rookie and turn around and make a nice profit.

    Well said!
  • silly question, but when selling a card such as the Mantle RC, are there special rules? if this guy was a power seller with 10,000 feedback, would he have to PROVE its a real mantle?
  • This is funny! The winning bidder is "baitreels7." He took the "bait" and got "reeled" in alright.
