scammer hooked a big one

This was mentioned a week or so back in a post. This non-gold , copy sold for a lot. It is a 20 buck token at best. Ebay did nothing as typical to remove the listing. This scammer meant to deceive and did so very well.
ebay item 250177433772
I can only hope they were shill bidders and the seller gets stuck. Ebay is just getting worse. I hope as well if the buyer is on the level that he will pursue this ebay needs to have a class action lawsuit or 2 to help them change there methods.

Your link is not working. Try again please. You have to take out the double http, but in your case, it is an https.

<< This coin was mentioned a couple of days ago. I don't recall what was said about it, but something about the word COPY being on the reverse somewhere if you enlarge the image. Pretty sad indeed. >>
Ebay was notified and nothing happened. Seller was advised it was a copy and it should be stated as such. She said it was and it was on the slab like that.....CC....she stated that meant Carbon Copy.....
Don't know what happened after that.
Buyer has a History of buying Gold but not paying for it...
He got a NEG on this one last month...

<< If you read the original thread about this coin instead of starting a new one you'll find out the seller contacted the buyer to explain that it was a copy and the sale was considered void. for those of you who think scammers are being successful every day on ebay I challenge you to produce the victims. Most of the ones we list here get ended early. This one was reported friday and closed monday. Ebay doesn't get much done over the weekend and is swamped on monday. Still, by contacting the seller and buyer it was confirmed that this either wasn't intended to be a scam or the scammer backed down when caught. I suggest changing the title of your thread. Ebay is a much safer place to buy that the skeptics would have you believe.

Thanks, Jerry, it was my thread and you said it all.

Final word from buyer was that the seller had called them and told them the coin was a copy and that the auction was void.
Also asked about the stupidity of spending that kinda money on a coin based on the pick........................never got a reply.
