Ebay Search Function Problems??

Is it just me or have others had problems with category searches? If I look up a Great Britain coin and then want to look up GB coins available to the USA it gives me ALL the foreign and has been much harder to group search in the manner I used to - anybody else notice this??

OK, I had trouble finding this option but looks like restoration of the old order! Thanks for the cue.

    7Jaguars:

You are in good company...I don't understand why this needed to be changed

Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.

  • I was very confused about the new search system too - and I, too, have opted out as soon as I discovered that "magic button".

What I found was that I got more irrelevant hits than before - MP3-players and other strange objects started to show on my searches! In some cases I also got fewer hits than I usually do.

And one more thing - being from Denmark I search both for the keyword "Denmark" and the keyword "Danish" - as many sellers seem to use that last phrase, especially when selling coins from the Danish West Indies. But the new system will not let me search for "Danish", instead it returns a search for "Denmark"!

Looking at the other thread that laurentyvan linked to I find it hard to believe that Ebay has created this system based on the wishes of the collectors. In any case I hope that it will be changed soon. And profoundly image

Yes, I doubt the change was user based, at least with regards to coins and their listings - who wants LESS function?
