I know we've got Desert "Storm" and possibly have Desert "Shield". Might take awhile to find out for sure, though...Too much "stuff" to go thru yet. Will let you know if I find any.

I mean the BASEBALL Topps cards with a stamped desert shield logo....but I want WAX, not single cards.

Not sure. All I know was that I bought some wax back in the 90's at a show, so I know there at least were some boxes here at some point.

They don't show up much on ebay but when they do they sell for around $50 a pack. I busted 10 packs a while back and did ok, but the price of graded singles has come down while pack prices remain the same. Pretty much a no win situation to open them at this point.

Bought one on ebay a few months back to go with my set for just under $ 50. Buy from a reputable dealer because as far as I know you can not easily distiguish from the regular 91 packs .

While they were meant to be primarliy distributed over there, large quantities were siphoned off in the supply chain here before ever getting there

There are also a lot of counterfeit cards in which the tree/logo is not embossed or is straight instead of leaning

The packs do end up on ebay and the going rate is about $30-$40 per pack. The biggest problem is that the D/S packs look exactly like the regular 1991 Topps wax, so the only way to tell is to open it up. A board member bought a box last year or maybe it was earlier this year and I recall he paid somewhere around $800. I tried to buy some packs but I think he busted it up and sold as raw.

I buy/sell a few singles but only psa 9 - psa 10. I have bought a bit of raw to grade but I think buying packs to grade would be tricky as I'm not certain how easy it is to search packs. Also, there are some dealers selling resealed packs with disclaimers about only so many D/S logoed cards per pack...which is not legit.
