I know very little about Cuba's numismatic history, but I bookmarked this auction out of curiosity since it is just one plain beautiful coin. Quite an impressive final price.

Different country, but I am also intrigued to see how these russian roubles finish. These Nicholas II date roubles are tough in any condition, and I haven't seen ones like this in ages. When the auctions started, I was guessing they would be in the range of $2000 each, but that appears to be off....
