I got it too. Obvious scam. I get about one a month.
Thanks for posting it so others can see that you have to keep your guard up 24/7 for those shyster scammers.

    one word: delete

then open up a fresh web browser and surf to www.paypal.com
    or www.ebay.com.

check it directly. do not click on links.

    delete delete delete.

That's what I kind of thought. I don't know if I've ever had one cause I know when I use paypal. Not at all if I can help it so if I get an e-mail from "them" I just delete anyway without checking.

Besides if I want millions I'll just send muhammad from nigeria some money to help hide his money in my account. image

    I get these regularly.

Forward them to ' spoof@paypal.com' ,or the ebay scams to 'spoof@ebay.com' then delete 'em.image

Wrong answer. Forard the email to spoof@paypal.com
If you don't report they won't fix the problem or even know there is a problem.

BTW those fake second chance offers go to spoof@ebay.com

I keep these in my address book so it is about two clicks to send them and them delete them from my computer.

  • It is funny when they arrive at an email address that is not associated with ebay or paypal in any way.
