I'll be optimistic about this and say Feb 2 2008.
I'll see your bunny with a pancake on his head and raise you a Siamese cat with a miniature pumpkin on his head.

You wouldn't believe how long it took to get him to sit still for this.

I ain't gonna guess cause my grandkids probably won't be collectors when they hit retirement and your grandkids will probably forget about the giveaway by the time the US Mint is sold out of these!

Im probably the only person known to have made money off them image

    They already are sold out.

The Mint is still taking orders for a waiting list if there are any cancellations.

Says "in stock" when I just checked.

I'll guess December 21, 2012. (Someone here must knw why that date is significant.)

Thats the end of the earth (or at least man on earth).... myself and a friend have been planning a party on that day for at least seven or eight years.... pack the house with as much technology as possible and go out with a bang.

  • Please do not enter me in this giveaway. I am already an old man and I don't think I will see this happening in my lifetime.

I can just see the 1886 version of this thread:

"Having recently procured coinage samples from the mint in San Francisco for the year 1880, I offer for your consideration the following wager: When will the silver dollar coins dated 1880 from the mint in San Francisco no longer be available from the Treasury in exchange for in-kind tender?"

    Who would have guessed 1963?
