RIP Max McGee

Link to article from Green Bay Press Gazette

Growing up I only remember Max and Jim Irwin on the radio for Packer Games.

He will be missed.

    ditto troy.

i dont know if you listened to 620 yesterday when they were replaying the Bengals game from 92. But after they had a phone interview with Jim. He had a hard time getting through that interview. They obivously had more than just a working relationship. some other interesting comments came from kramer who said roughly that all the former players that can physically make it to the funeral will be there and that there wont be any tears. he said that they are all prepared to have their relationships to proceed to next level. if thats true i hate to see what type of football will be played in the after life.

Him being on the roof at 75 was amazing....made me remember when I was in my teens and my dad caught my grandfather up on the roof of his house.....he was also up in years but to make matters worse he had lost one arm in a mine back in PA....

the old folks (meant with much gratitude) never give up and always try to keep goingimage
