I just loaded up the smoker:
4 racks dry-rubbed baby back ribs
2 racks salt-rubbed St Louis style ribs
8 cajun-injected/rubbed chicken breasts

I just had about 15 tots for lunch. I'm saving up some room for later. I plan on making a run to Chipotles for one of their burritos just prior to game 7.

<< <i>I will be at mt 10 year old daughters soccer game..........confronting the replacement coach about my daughters playing time. I know she is not a great or even a very good player but she deserves more than 5 or 6 minutes of playing time each game that lasts 40 minutes. Thanks for letting me vent.

I dread these days -- i.e., having confrontations with coaches.
I actually dread my wife and my children's future coaches -- she has a much worse temper than I do!!
With all due respect, this is not your job as a parent.
As a former head high school baseball coach for several years, I've long maintained that the best and worst part of coaching were the parents.
Let the coaches coach and the players play. If a coach were to appease every parent in the stands, he/she would not be coaching too terribly long.
Sure, I've played on teams where I was getting the screws put to me by some lame coach. Was also on teams where I played every inning, quarter, period, minute, play, etc.
It all evens out. Keep it in perspective.
Once had a father throwing rocks at me while I dragged the infield under the lights after a doubleheader. No lie. If he wasn't in his seventies, he would have been drinking his dinner through a straw for many months to come.
Sometimes kids learn more from a terrible coach than from a fine coach.
Had several players go on to play Division 1 baseball. One kid even signed a free-agent contract as a quarterback with the Bengals a few years back. Was cut almost immediately, but I still have a few of his shiny Donruss Elite cards!

I completely agree with you on the high school level, but in youth leagues, nothing good comes out neglecting a child. It leads to disdain for sports in the neglected children and a "me" mentality in the more athletic children. Developmentally, it is terrible to overwork children, and to not cycle playing time is asking for injuries. Youth leagues are only useful because they are teaching tools: fundamentals and sportsmanship.
Once children are playing at the high school level, the level of competition has changed, the kids are both mentally and physically adept to playing complete games, and there are actual stakes to be had in terms of winning and losing. In my opinion, the two scenarios are on completely different levels.
As a high school coach, I wouldn't want any input from the peanut gallery, however.
