1911 T3 Turkey Red Silk

I have an item that I have no idea it's worth or if it's real. About 20 years ago, I purchased a framed color silk of Nap Rucker form the Brooklyn Dodgers. It is about an 8x10 and the photo is the same photo that was used on his card for the 1911 T3 Turkey Red card. Could this have been an original to make the cards from? Can anyone please point me in the right direction? Thank you.

It sounds like it might be an S81 Silk. They were issued in 1912 and are 6 3/4" x 8 3/4" and use the same images as the T3s.

  • Steve is correct John. Rucker was in the S81 set (25 silks) and although its not mentioned in my reference material here at work, I believe they came in 2 sizes. One around 7 X 9 and one a little larger. Keith
