Ebay on your cell phone or mobile device?

I am going to get a new phone soon and I was wondering if anyone uses ebay on theirs? I want something that I can use to search and get completed auctions on so I can check stuff at card shows. I googled this and found a few articles, but they were talking about using MyeBay and I wonder how it works with searches on different phones. If anyone has experience or can tell me anything it would be appreciated. Thanks.

p.s.- I don't want an Iphone because it is slow and not worth it to me.

I have a Windows based phone with full page internet, so I've been using eBay on my phone since January of '06. However, last fall the powers that be came out with eBay mobile. It's pretty cool...I've been driving down the highway and bid on a last minute auction 100s of miles away from my home or office. Only problem with eBay mobile is that images don't load on the main auction listing, you have to click on a tab and open the image, then hit back to view the main listing again. I use my phone at shows, thrift shops, antique stores...it's a great resource, especially the eBay part. As for completed listings, unless something has changed, eBay Mobile doesn't offer that feature. You'd have to have a phone with full page internet so you can pull up the standard eBay site. I use a Palm Treo 700w by the way.

    Same here.
I've got the Treo 700w and Love to check out listing. I've won many auctions in the past, but since I started using a Snipe service I don't use it as much. It is very useful on the road.

I"ve got an iphone and it works great on ebay, Mastro, etc.
I've used it at shows to check my registry and vcp. No problems at all with the speed, I had it next to a blackberry and a treo at a game yesterday and it was loading faster. You might reconsider.

There are third party web browsers for windows mobile that are faster than IE mobile. Opera is like Internet explorer but with way more options and faster seeds.

Regardless of the stats, the iPhone is LEAPS AND BOUNDS faster than anything else I've ever used.
