any thoughts on Heritage auctions?

Has anyone bought or sold through them? TIA

I buy from them fairly regularly, and haven't had any major issues.

I bought something from Heritage for the first time about a month ago. Item was exactly as described and shipped quickly. For my first transaction, I thought it went very smooth. I would absolutely buy from them again.

  • I've purchased several items from them and never had a problem. All the items were very nice as described, shipped quickly and their web site is among the best in the auction industry.

Brutally high buyers premium, compounded by the fact they charge sales tax in my state. I think if you bid with them thru ebay live and live in CA or TX it totals out to 31-32% on top of your bid.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

    I love their web site too . . .

They always have an insane amount of quality memorabilia .

I forgot what their total was for last month , But it was a staggering number .

They obviously have huge outreach capability .
  • Their buyer's premium use to be outrageous, but everyone else has bumped their premiums now so they aren't really that high. They were at 19.5% when everyone else was at 15%, but now many of the other big auction houses have climbed to 20%. You quickly learn to never buy anyting from an auction house with eBay live because the buyer's premiums are crazy once eBay takes its cut.
