Carol, think you might be interested in this...

Carol,

Below is the link to an ebay auction that I think you might be interested in. It's pretty bad and might affect PSA. Thanks!

PSA should set up an ebay address (like Spoof@ebay.com) where people could forward faultulate type activety, such has this or those that use PSA in there title when auctioning off junk

    << <i>THIS IS A REPRINT CARD IN A NOVELTY HOLDER. >>

<< <i>THIS CARD IS FOR NOVELTY USE ONLY. TRICK YOUR FRIENDS AND HAVE FUN DOING IT. >>

<< <i>THE CARD DOES NOT SAY REPRINT AND THE CERT. NUMBER MATCHES PSA. >>

For $250 I really doubt some one is going to be using this to "Trick" their friends....

I suspect this will be sold as a real card in a real holder very soon.image
  • There has to be a way to flag the certificate number, right ?

Won't help at all if the guy bidding on it on ebay doesn't go to psa to check. Somebody will think he's getting a steal and in fact he will be getting robbed.

Plus if you flag the cert number, what about the poor guy who does own the REAL one?

I don't get it. Is it a mislabel? Or is it a fake holder? Or is it a cracked out holder that's been resealed (doesn't look frosty)?

I don't see what PSA can do about it? Nor do I really think it's their responsibility to police the whole world. Just my two.

This guy is / was selling a trimmed down Aaron Rookie in a tampered with PSA holder and trying to pass it off has a novelty.......PSA has every right to be interested in something like this

Thanks. The card was small but I wasn't sure if it was a reprint or an altered card. I have my answer.

I dont think that is a real PSA holder maybe a POS holder but not PSA. The flip is too loose in the holder

I agree. If you look closely on the flip along the top corners, you can see a white border. Probably photocopied a real Aaron flip from a scan then cut it out. Maybe placed the card and the copied flip inside a cracked slab.
