Arizona Diamondbacks: .250 Batting Average *WOW*

They were last in the NL in Batting Average for 2007 with a .250 BA. 4th in the NL in ERA though with a 4.13 ERA. Still hard to believe they ended up in 1st place with that stinky of a Batting Average!!!!

    (a) batting average is a terrible way to determine a good hitter
    (b) they had an inordinate number of wins in one run games.
    (c) if they don't improve either scoring runs or keeping them from being scored, there's no chance they are a playoff team next year.

    if Randy johnson comes back and is healthy, they will be a better team than this year. they are young, talented team. Amazing they got this far with the hitters on that roster!
