1904 $20 MS 62 PL

This is a very nice prooflike 1904 $20. In fact it exhibits very clearly EVERY CHARACTERISTIC of a proof from that year, except the plastic around it that SAYS its a proof. Check at Heritage, they have an PF 1904 in the Buy It Now listings - the die state is precisely the same. This coin has the slight doubling of all elements, characteristic of a proof - particularly noticable on the reverse, but the obverse elements are also doubled - see the truncation of the neck, the stars. It is fully reflective at arms length. It has proof reeding, though of course you cant SEE that anymore since its been slapped into this MS62 plastic. But lets face it, Im a numismatic nobody and it matters very little if this coin LOOKS just exactly like a proof, and SMELLS just exactly like a proof, and TASTES just exactly like a proof, and Im tired of playing this third party grading BS game. So anybody who wants to send it on in another couple of three-four dozen times to get it certified correctly can buy it for an MS 62 price.
