Removing Gum from 78 opc

Just cracked a box of 78 opc baseball. Guess what ? Thats right an incredible Murray rookie with the gum stuck on the rear. Help !! I really want to try something to get this off. Any help is appreciated.

Try popping it in the freezer for about 20-30 minutes, the gum may pop off cleanly after that, since the sugar/stickiness is what you want to avoid when taking off that gum. Good luck!

man i hate when that happens,i opened a box of 83 topps and gum was on one of the tony gwynn rookies,it has the moisture sucked out of the gum and into the card though so it was ruined anyways because of all the discoloration stains on it,soaked from one side to the other! ,seems it always has to be the $ card, not some 20cent dud lol good luck!!
