1985 topps baseball interest?

is there much interest in this set? i've got a few monster boxes of these and would be willing to go thru and submit potential 9 and 10 candidates (less mcgwire and clemens) if there were any takers. it may take a few weeks to get everything together.

Thanks,

David (LD_Ferg)

I'd be interested in any Red Sox that didn't make the 9 or 10 final cut

If you ever get a PSA 9 Joe Morgan, I would be VERY interested.
  • PM sent.
  • When/if you go through them, I could use these to finish my set, 14,181,206,384,460,558,665,675,690 I think one of them is the Clemens but don't know which one without looking them up. Not looking to get them graded so anything NRMT or so would be fine, I would just like to put this set away. Let me know, thanks.

    181 is Clemens.
  • I got an '85 Topps vending box today from the BBCE (case fresh).

The box was making me nervous, the first 250 cards...a Gwynn and Mike Schmidt. I get farther down the box, another Gwynn, a Ripken.

    100 cards to go, nothing.

The last 50 cards in the box, getting *very* nervous. Finally got a McGwire, then a Mattingly with 10 cards to go. No Clemens, puckett, sandberg, boggs, ryan or even pete rose.

Does it matter how dark the green reverse is in terms of grading? Sometimes the cards are light green. Sometimes, very dark, with dark red print.

Whats the toughest hof'er to get in a 9 or 10?
  • I will be very interested in any Angels card that are PSA 8 or better that I need.
