Need to find out a question for my PSA Set Registry :-)

Hi, I have a Patrick Ewing autoigraphed card but he is not in the Basketball Hall of Fame and can't add him to my PSA Set Registry so I was wondering if anybody knows if and when you think or know when he will be going in to the HOF? Just can't wait to add his card to my set but of course hes not in the HOF yet but I would think he would get in at some point but not sure when. What do you guys think? Thanksimage

    When does he become eligible?

Edited to say: it appears he is eligible next year........I would imagine he would get in on his first go around.

Wow, thanks that sounds great! Does anybody else know? Were did you find that info by the way? I want to make sure so I know which cards to send in to be graded. I wouldn't want to grade my Ewing and have to wait like 5 years or something to add him to the set. Thats why I want to make sure, I couldn't stand having his card graded and having to wait 5 years lol. Thanks againimage

From the Basketball Hall of Fame website:

    Eligibility:
Player: A player must be fully retired for five years before being eligible for Enshrinement. He/she may then be considered for Enshrinement in the sixth year of retirement. Should a player come out of retirement for a short period of time, as defined by the BHOF, his/her case and eligibility for Enshrinement shall be reviewed on an individual basis.

Ewing last played in the 2001-2002 season............so do the math.

Oh cool, thanksimage But is it a definate thing that he will be up next for next year? Is there any other players that are in Ewing level as a player that also has been retiered for 5 years or more that will be up next? I guess I will get that card graded after all, I am sending in 4 cards to be graded in the next week or so. Ok, thanks again for everything.
